Dear Health Seeker:

The idea for this Guide came to me as I reflected on a two-page Guide that a gentleman gave to me while I was serving my faith in the Holy Land. The man, whose name I do not recall after all these years, was a friend of my roommate, and at the time was visiting Israel on a 9-day Bahá'í pilgrimage. He noted that the instructions in this two page Guide had changed his life and health for the better, and, as an added bonus, had allowed him to lose about 170 pounds in the process. He showed me his driver’s license picture which had been taken prior to the weight loss, so I had no reason to disbelieve his story.

I was thankful to receive the Guide--almost 10 years ago--because I had at that time just started a vegetarian lifestyle and a regimen of simple eating, and I knew instinctively that the information in the Guide would assist me in being successful in meeting my dietary goals. The man who shared it with me was a raw foodist and had cut out many things from his diet. While on Pilgrimage, he did allow himself the luxury of eating delightful breads which he could not resist during his stay.

The best part of the Guide, for me, was that it contained only two pages of simple rules to follow in order to make it all happen. There were references and resources that the Guide pointed the reader to if s/he wanted to know the source of the conclusions, but little more. Basically, someone had already done the research on the rules of natural nutrition and just presented what works best to create optimum health in the body.

That two-page Guide, by the way, has been reformatted and is attached in its entirety to this Recalling Health-N-A-Nutshell Guide as Appendix A. The Natural Nutrition Guide outlines the principles for using natural foods to restore health to the human temple (i.e. your body).

This Recalling Health N-A-Nutshell Guide takes the same approach in its simplicity, but because it encompasses the body, mind and spirit and a few other components of creating health, it must of necessity be a bit longer.

Still, while the Guide points you to references and resources which I have used to recall health in my life, the information is devoid of fluff or fillers. My goal was to make this report short enough to be printed out without exhausting all of your printer’s ink supply. (Yeah, I am always looking out for ya.)

My hope is that you find at least one morsel in this Guide that will change your life for the better too.
